❝It is stated in al-Sharh al-Kabir and al-Mubdi’:
After reciting the Surah, one remains stood and silent until they catch back their breath before bending down for Ruku’, so as to not join the end of Surah with the Takbirah of Ruku’. This was stated by Imam Ahmad (r), based on the Hadith of Samurah (r): When he ﷺ finished reciting he remained silent.
