Asalamualaykum Sheikh
Mentioned in a earlier question, the baby must suckle five times for relations to be established. Would this be five times being breastfed or is feeding sufficient i.e. cup, bottle?

Wa’alaikumussalam.

Both are sufficient. It does not have to be direct breastfeeding. This is explicit in the words of Imam ibn Qudamah and others.
